With a new school year, comes a new ambition to start a blog.

For the folks who will actually be reading this, I'm not blogging to give super advice to people, or to post fancy knitting patterns or delicious food recipes (I can hardly cook...but there will be food pictures). "We stood like statues at the gate"* is just a blog about le quotidien. Of myself, my observations, and random-ness.
